The method

How we grade a match, and how to check it

Market odds give the starting point. Our model corrects them with form, Elo, rest and absentees. The result: a probability, then a grade from A to F. We publish every result, losses included.

A statistical model

Every match gets a probability calculated by a statistical model. It starts from the market odds, which act as an anchor, and adjusts them using both teams' recent form, their Elo rating and the rest days between matches.

The grade, from A to F

The grade translates the probability estimated by the model: A from 70%, B from 60%, C from 50%, D from 40%, F below 40%.

The grading scale

How to read the grades

Aprobability of 70% or more
Bprobability of 60 to 69%
Cprobability of 50 to 59%
Dprobability of 40 to 49%
Fprobability below 40%

A grade is not a guarantee.

A public track record

We publish the track record of picks already played, grade by grade, with the losses included. Nothing is removed afterwards.

Grading well is not beating the bookmaker

An A grade often wins, but at odds that are often low, and every price includes the bookmaker's margin. As of today, blindly betting on all our A grades doesn't beat that margin: over time, it would end up slightly in the red. That's why we don't sell you a winning system. We give you an honest probability to compare with the odds. The decision is yours.

The leagues we cover

Seven competitions in English: Ligue 1, LaLiga, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, MLS. In the Champions League and the MLS, the 1X2 market doesn’t yet rely on a history of odds: its grade doesn’t go above C. Latin American leagues, LaLiga 2 and the Brasileirão are covered on the Spanish version.

A grade is not a guarantee

Even an A grade can lose: a grade measures a probability, never a certainty. 18+ only, gamble responsibly.

Frequently asked questions

What is SportPredix?

A sports prediction app with grades from A to F. For each match, a statistical model estimates the probabilities and an analysis explains the why in plain terms. SportPredix is not a bookmaker: we don't accept any bets.

How is the A to F grade calculated?

A statistical model starts from the market odds, which act as an anchor, and adjusts them using the teams' recent form, their Elo rating and rest time. The grade reflects the resulting probability: A from 70%, B from 60%, C from 50%, D from 40%, F below.

Is an A grade a guarantee?

No. An A grade means a high probability, never a certainty: it can lose. That's why we publish the track record of every pick played, losses included, with nothing deleted afterwards.
